Content Protection For Your WordPress Blog

Protect your content posts and pages on your WordPress blog from being duplicated. I think freelance writers and bloggers can appreciate this simple method to prevent identical content online.

We as blogger’s work hard online to create and come up with valuable information each time to share it with viewers.Β  So, protect your content from being captured and recycled online.Β  Plus, finding out that someone else has the same content as yours, can be discouraging.

Google Programmed Robots

Even for Google it is discouraging, because Google robots are programmed to recognize the original content placed online and I hope it will be mine. Because they’re robots searches for new content constantly, and robots are specifically designed and programmed to do what it is set-up for.

Simple WordPress Plugin Content Protection

WordPress cultivates and permits these amazing plugin creators, to give your blog the benefit to enhance it and protect it.Β  For example, this blog plugin protector blocks your content from being copied and paste else where. It’s not a 100% proof, but it sure makes it more challenging from it being copied. GoΒ  and apply this to your blog, as soon as possible.

* Keep in mind you may have authorized duplicate content online through articles or other resources, but at least you authorized it.

If this has been a helpful tip for you, please leave me a sweet comment, tweet and Like to share with others.

If You’re Writing All Your Articles By Hand OR Paying Someone Else To Then Please Stop…You’re Wasting Time & Money!

Optional Resources: Yes, writing a new article everytime you need fresh content is a major time waster and paying someone else to, is like flushing money down the toilet. There is an easier way to get much more leverage out of your articles, which can save you a huge amount of time and money.

  7. Aloha, Lani!

I know I dropped by earlier already and left a comment, but I just had to let you know that I was thinking about you!

During my perusings around other blogs, someone else had written a guest post about what to do if you find your content has been scraped by another site, and the steps to take before contacting Google and Feedburner, etc. It was really in-depth, and it occurred to me that I didn’t know how to go about finding out whether or not my own content had been scraped (if it ever is).

But then it reminded me about your video tutorial here, and I just thought I’d mention it. Funny how sometimes topics on several blogs pop up all at once. Is this because more scraping has been happening lately, despite the Panda Update?

  8. Hi Lani,

So glad I found this post. I didn’t realize there was a plug-in but not surprised by it. I actually had an incident when someone duplicated an article I wrote and didn’t give me the credit and called the person on it. It wasn’t comfortable to do but felt it was necessary.

Can’t wait to give this plug-in a try.

    Thank you! :).

  11. Thanks to Google Alerts, I have found several instances where people have stolen or “scraped’ my articles. There are ways to prevent this, like making it impossible for anyone to use the copy and paste key on your site. These are some great tips, as we know everyone isn’t into honesty and aren’t above taking someone else’s content.

@Cubicle chick, cool nickname by the way and I appreciate your input. It’s a challenge out there to create eye catching ideas to apply to our business, so I suppose this is why at times some capture content online and re-use them. I think if we take the time to learn our own skills and apply it, then we will be able to develop our own content, but still secure it. Mahalo, Lani πŸ™‚

@Kellie, very cool of you dropping by and when I first started I’ve a read a few feedback regarding this issue. Plus developers creating spinning software to recycle content to make it possible to re-use. It’s okay if it’s your stuff to spin time after time. Mahalo, Lani πŸ™‚

  17. Great post, Lani! It really is important to make sure that our work is valued and we get credit for it. Thank you for this great service, and for finding it. You are doing a great service by telling people where you found it. I also do the same because I want to reward people who have great information to share, and I think that it is good for others to remember the same.

  18. Hi Lani!

This is a nifty tool to use indeed! It’s sad that most bloggers’ hardwork in coming up with good and quality content could just be subjected to unauthorized reproduction or copying. This tool should keep everything in its proper place.
