Homeless Man Holds His Resume And Steps Out In Faith!

Here is a unique situation that doesn’t happen everyday.

Ted Williams, a homeless man from Columbus,Ohio, steps out in faith and shares his hidden talent.

He has an amazing voice, that most radio stations, and media shows would love to utilize.

Ted Williams holds his resume to get the word out and he is the true deal, and backed it up.

His cardboard resume starts off with this, “I have a God given gift a voice..” watch his personal video clip interview, how he ignited his dream.

Don’t Give Up On Your Dreams!

Ted Williams is an example to most of us, never give up on your dreams. No matter what the conditions maybe. Believe in yourself and be unique and creative. Find a way to be recognized by others to express your hidden treasures.

He was founded because he made his talent known and not just by requesting a hand out. He challenged himself and others who may have been curious enough to stop and asked him to show his talent.

A Life Changing Experience…

I personally love this story to remind me that anything is possible in life. Keep going forward to find your passion within you and don’t hold back in showing the world there is hope for everyone, “You Are A God Given Gift In This World.” His life turned around with many good offers and now he is working in his field.

There are a handful of people just like Ted, that stepped out of their comfort zone and made it possible for themselves. And now gives back to others with there hidden talents and they are making positive changes in the world.

Through technology exposure, this story has been awakening to most of us, in hope to live our dreams and make it come true. Find your passion and make real.Β  God Bless!

Let’s see more success stories as this one,

  1. This is an amazing story! It’s true, that we’re all valuable and all of us have a God-given talent. It’s like Erma Bombeck said once, “When I die I want to be able to say to God, ‘I have nothing left. I used everything you gave me!'”

Hi Lani – Great post! I heard this story on the radio the other day but did not get the full effect until your post. Wow – what a great story. I feel bad for his Mother because I would imagine that he had caused her a lot of pain in the past. Hopefully now this will be the thing that turns his life around. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I am still hung up on why his mother was so devastated. What is her problem? Sounds like she could use a dose of his happy drug. It sounds like a great story, but in reality we only hear what the media wants us to hear. They may have needed a feel good bit for their air-waves. I never watch the news because of this. I hope the man got the job he wanted and I hope the mother came to her senses. Thanks for sharing this story with us.

@Nicole, awesome we can reciprocate here and glad you came by. Yes, it was a bit unusual how his mother reacted and I am sure she has her reasons. But the good thing is some one came out learning from their experiences and gave himself another shot at life. We all have our down falls and at times need to be picked up and dusted off and smile and be grateful, that someone was nice enough to notice. Great to see and hear, life is good no matter what. God bless those who are willing to make changes for themselves. Mahalo, Lani πŸ™‚

@Brian and Felicia, so true don’t judge the book by its cover. In fact, I believe Ted mentioned something similar to this, a person he heard on radio look nothing like what he sounded like. Everyone has a dream and we all deserve to fulfill our dreams. God Bless Ted and those who are going forward with their dreams and desires to have a better life. Mahalo and Happy New Year! Lani πŸ™‚

@Melissa, I’m glad I had a chance to share this inspirational story with you and I see you reminisce about your past volunteer job. I am sure there are a lot of talented people out there that forgot who they are and there great possibilities, if they gave themselves another chance. A big factor is believe that they can do it and keep striving! Keep the Lord within, us all the time. He doesn’t condemn us when we look to son, Christ.

  10. Jason says:

My uncle called me today saying, “Turn on your TV. You’ve got to see this homeless guy!” I rolled my eyes, thinking, “I have no desire to check out the ‘homeless beat’ today.”

Then I saw the videos on HuffPo and loved it. I worked in broadcasting for 5 years and grow up fascinated with radio…and then there was the one time I lived on the streets too.

So yeah, this story really hit home to me and I’m glad you wrote about it on your blog.

Happy New Year and Best of Luck Ted Williams!!

    • Lani says:

This maybe a turning point for those who may be on the way side, like he was and in hopes they may step up and out of there own situation and make it real. Blessing to all who make the change for them and their family. Lani πŸ™‚
