You are your own boss and don’t limit yourself to just a few programs. Go crazy with it, but make sure you are focusing on that project and get it done and move on.

Once an order has been placed by a customer the merchant handles and ships the purchased product.
Most of the time, you’ll never have to deal with customers directly with e-mail or phone calls, (the merchant deals with customers service inquiries and support).
Most affiliate programs cost next to nothing to join, but there are a few that will cost you a minimal fee or a purchase product fee. It varies with merchants.

This really was a great post Lani. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to capitalize on products and services that others have created, simply by referring others to use them. However, you should have a sense of integrity when doing this. Only refer services and products you have personally used or have a complete understanding as to how it works. In all honesty, I’ve done both things. At first, I would recommend products that I had never used…believe me, it doesn’t work well. There was a turning point when I actually started using the products I promote. My reviews and suggestions were much more informative and genuine….and that resulted in more sales. Affiliate marketing really is a great way to supplement your income.

Thanks for the great post. Affiliate marketing is definitely a great way to make some extra side cash. I’ve been doing it for a long time, even way before I got involved in MLM/network marketing. Its a sure way to go, and not nearly as difficult as trying to get somebody to join your primary, expensive business.
